Feng Enji

Feng Enji is a 70-year-old resident of Grape Garden Village in Beijing's Miyun District, who recently lost his home in devastating floods that struck the area in July 2023. His family's house, which consisted of two small buildings where they had lived for 40 years, was severely damaged, requiring significant funds for reconstruction that he cannot afford. Despite receiving some emergency aid from local authorities, Feng continues to face hardships as he navigates the aftermath of the disaster, including temporary housing and the challenges of cleanup and recovery.
