Fernanda Wittgens

Fernanda Wittgens (1903–1957) was a pioneering Italian art historian and gallery director known for her courageous efforts to protect art during World War II and her significant contributions to the art world, particularly as the first female director of the Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan.
