Fernando Arteaga Pinto

Fernando Arteaga Pinto is the National Manager of Exploration and Exploitation at Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB), Bolivia's state-owned oil company. Recently, he announced the discovery of a significant gas reserve in the Mayaya Centro-X1 exploratory well, which is regarded as one of the most important hydrocarbon discoveries in Bolivia since 2005. Arteaga detailed the findings of hydrocarbon gases and liquids in the Copacabana and Tomachi formations, highlighting the potential for further exploration and production development in the region.
