Fernando Izarra

Fernando Izarra, a 28-year-old Venezuelan, has been living in Nuremberg, Germany, for five months after fleeing the repression in Venezuela. He was an active member of the opposition party Vente Venezuela and became an advocate for human rights after his brother was killed during protests in July 2024. His activism has made him a target, forcing him to leave his home country in search of safety.
