Fernando López Julio

Fernando López Julio is a former Bolivian Minister of Defense who served in the government of Jeanine Áñez. He has been embroiled in legal troubles related to corruption and mismanagement of state resources, particularly concerning the procurement of tear gas. Like his former colleague Arturo Murillo, López has been sentenced to prison and is currently seeking asylum in Paraguay as he faces serious charges in Bolivia.
