Fernando Ramírez Serrano

Fernando Ramírez Serrano is a Costa Rican legal professional who served as the Director General of the Instituto Costarricense sobre Drogas (ICD) from October 2022 until his recent dismissal in 2023. Prior to his role at the ICD, Ramírez was a judge in the Costa Rican judicial system and brought significant legal expertise to his position. His tenure at the ICD focused on drug policy and rehabilitation efforts in Costa Rica. Following his removal from the ICD, he announced his return to his judicial duties.
