Fiaz Ahmad Chaudhry

Dr. Fiaz Ahmad Chaudhry is the Chairman of the National Grid Company of Pakistan (NGC) and a senior adviser at the LUMS Energy Institute. He has been instrumental in promoting the indigenisation strategy within Pakistan's power sector, which aims to reduce dependency on imports and boost local manufacturing capabilities. Under his leadership, the NGC has already achieved significant savings in foreign exchange through import substitution.
