Fidelma McCorry

Fidelma McCorry is an Irish academic and author who has extensively researched the patterns of Irish emigration to Australia, earning her PhD from the University of Adelaide in 2017 on the subject. Having migrated from Ireland multiple times throughout her life, she has settled in Adelaide since 1999, where she emphasizes the challenges faced by new arrivals in Australia, particularly in housing. McCorry is co-author of the book 'Continuity & Change: Post-war migration from Ireland to Australia 1945-2024'.
