Fie Hækkerup

Fie Hækkerup is a Danish politician and member of the Social Democrats, who has recently returned to the Danish Parliament (Folketinget) after taking nearly a year off following the tragic loss of her newborn daughter. A member of a prominent political dynasty, she is the daughter of former Minister Nick Hækkerup and has been an MP since the 2022 elections. During her time in Parliament, she has served as the spokesperson for consumer affairs and, more recently, for the elderly. Before entering politics, Hækkerup worked as a public affairs consultant and led the social democratic student organization Frit Forum.
