Fighting Redcocks

Fighting Redcocks refers to Strike Fighter Squadron 22 (VFA-22) of the United States Navy, which operates the F/A-18 Super Hornet aircraft. Established in the early 1980s, they have participated in various operations and exercises around the world. The squadron made headlines recently when one of their aircraft crashed in the South China Sea during a mission from the USS Nimitz, although the pilots were successfully rescued.
