Filemón Mamani
Filemón Mamani is the president of the Municipal Council of El Puente, located in the Guarayos province of Bolivia. He has recently been in the news for denouncing an armed invasion of his property by a group of masked individuals, resulting in injury to one of his workers. Mamani claims that he legally acquired his 490-hectare property in 2015 and has accused the invaders of abusing his assets and making false claims about the legality of his ownership.
