Finley English
Finley English is a dedicated young volunteer from Rotorua, New Zealand, who has spent the last five years working with the Salvation Army. His journey began at age 13 with a school fundraising project, which ignited his passion for supporting those in need, particularly during challenging times like the Covid-19 pandemic. English's commitment to his community is evident through his regular volunteering, where he assists with various tasks, from restocking shelves to helping clients navigate the foodbank system. He was recently recognized as a 2025 Young Achiever for his contributions to leadership, academics, and community service, and he serves as the head boy at Western Heights High School. Acknowledged for his empathy and kindness, English hopes to continue his involvement with the Salvation Army as he transitions to university.
