Firmin Marius Nyama

Professor Firmin Marius Nyama is the president of the Committee of Experts for the Conseil africain et malgache pour l’enseignement supérieur (CAMES). He recently advocated for the establishment of a virtual academy aimed at enhancing the adaptation of African universities to current technological changes, particularly in relation to artificial intelligence. His leadership during the 43rd ordinary session of CAMES highlights a commitment to revitalizing scientific research within the CAMES region, which currently contributes only about 2% to global scientific production.
