Flávio da Silva

Flávio da Silva, 38, is a convicted murderer who was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the feminicide of his former sister-in-law, Edivina Rafael. He was apprehended by municipal guards in São Paulo after being identified through a facial recognition system while attempting to evade capture in a busy area of the city. Flávio had been on the run since December, having previously attacked Edivina in an incident that resulted in her tragic death.
