Flavius Anicius Petronius Maximus

Flavius Anicius Petronius Maximus was a Roman aristocrat who briefly served as Emperor of the Western Roman Empire from March 17 to May 31, 455 AD. His reign ended violently when he was killed by a mob as he attempted to flee Rome during the Vandal invasion, marking a dramatic episode in the decline of the Roman Empire.
