Florence Thurmes
Florence Thurmes is a Luxembourgish art curator and the General Director of the Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz since early 2024. She has a rich background in art history and curation, having studied in France and worked in various prestigious institutions, including the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen in Dresden and the Museum Ostwall in Dortmund. Thurmes is known for her efforts to revitalize the cultural image of Chemnitz, particularly as the city prepares for its role as a European Capital of Culture in 2025.
