Foni Brefet

Foni Brefet is a village in The Gambia that recently became a beneficiary of a national electrification program, marking a significant milestone in its history. With the commissioning of a new electrical system, Foni Brefet is now connected to the national power grid for the first time, bringing electricity to thousands of households and improving the quality of life for residents. This initiative is part of a larger project funded by the World Bank, aimed at expanding electricity access to rural and peri-urban communities throughout The Gambia and neighboring countries.
