Fotis Dimarese

Fotis Dimarese is a retired brigadier general of the Greek Fire Service and serves as the operational head of the Association for the Protection and Development of Hymettus (SPAU) regarding forest fire management and protection. He has been instrumental in implementing advanced technologies, such as the 'Engage' system, which employs AI and surveillance cameras to enhance the rapid response to forest fires, especially following the devastating wildfires in 2021.
