Fran Levac

Fran Levac was a Slovene philologist and linguist best known for creating the first Slovene orthography published in 1899. His work laid the foundation for subsequent editions of Slovene orthographic rules, shaping the way the Slovene language is written and understood. The upcoming Pravopis 8.0 is a significant update to his original work, being developed with public input for the first time in history.
