Francesca Brandoli was a 52-year-old Italian woman who was serving a life sentence in Bollate prison for the murder of her husband, Christian Cavaletti, which she committed alongside her lover, Davide Ravarelli, in 2007. In 2011, she controversially married fellow inmate Luca Zambelli, another convicted murderer, before they divorced five years later. Tragically, Brandoli took her own life in prison in March 2025.
