Francis Deck

Francis Deck, affectionately known as Fran, was a beloved restaurateur and the driving force behind the iconic Toronto diner chain Fran's, which became a cultural staple in the city. After taking over the family business in 1976 following his father's passing, Deck built a reputation for warmth and hospitality, making Fran's a welcoming space for everyone from nightlifers to families.
