Francis Thoya

Francis Thoya is a 40 under 40 Award winner and the founder of Samaki Cookies, a venture aimed at combating malnutrition in Kilifi through the production of nutrient-dense snacks made from locally available ingredients, including fish. With a background in Sociology and Event Planning, he has dedicated himself to making a tangible impact in his community, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic when he recognized the urgent need for affordable, protein-rich snacks for vulnerable populations.
