Franco Abruzzo

Franco Abruzzo was a distinguished Italian journalist and president of the Lombardy Order of Journalists from 1989 to 2007. Born on August 3, 1939, in Cosenza, he made significant contributions to the field of journalism, starting his career at Tempo and Giornale d'Italia before becoming a prominent judicial reporter at Giorno. He was recognized as Italy's first officially acknowledged trainee journalist and played a pivotal role in advocating for the rights of journalists, particularly those who were vulnerable. Abruzzo passed away at the age of 85, leaving behind a legacy of dedication to journalism and education.
