François Cevert

François Cevert was a French racing driver who competed in Formula One during the early 1970s. He was known for being a protégé of the legendary Jackie Stewart and drove for the Tyrrell team. Cevert showcased his talent with several impressive performances, including podium finishes, before his promising career was tragically cut short in 1973 when he lost his life in a crash during qualifying for the U.S. Grand Prix.
