François Sablayrolles

François Sablayrolles is a lecturer in British and Irish studies at the University of Angers, living in Paris with his Irish wife and their three Franco-Irish children. He has a deep connection to Ireland, having first visited Dublin in 1996 to learn English and later returning as an Erasmus student, where he met his wife. His passion for Irish culture is evident in his teaching, music, and cycling, including participation in fundraising events such as the Mizen to Malin cycle for Breast Cancer Ireland.
