Frandzoso

Frandzoso was a talented 25-year-old Italian alpine skier who tragically lost his life after a training accident at the La Parva ski resort in Chile. During a training session on Saturday, he suffered a serious fall while attempting a small jump, resulting in a severe head injury and subsequent brain swelling. Despite being airlifted to a hospital in Santiago and placed in a medically induced coma, doctors were unable to save him. His death has been described as an incredible tragedy for both his family and the sport, prompting calls for better safety measures in skiing. Frandzoso had previously achieved significant milestones in his career, including a fourth-place finish at the 2020 Junior World Championships and participation in 17 FIS World Cup races.
