Frank Moberg

Frank Moberg was a prominent figure in Finnish ice hockey, known for his extensive contributions to the sport and his long-standing affiliation with the HIFK hockey club. He served as the club's chairman from 1976 to 1990 and as its managing director from 1987 to 2001. Moberg also held significant roles in the Finnish national team, the SM-liiga governing board, and was a scout for the NHL's Quebec Nordiques. In recognition of his contributions, he was honored as a Finnish Ice Hockey Lion in 2000. At the age of 85, Moberg passed away, leaving behind a legacy in Finnish ice hockey that was marked by his passion and dedication to the game.
