Frank Pickard was a notable Canadian mining executive, serving as the CEO of Falconbridge, one of Canada’s leading diversified mining companies. His career was tragically cut short in 1996 when he died of a heart attack shortly after arriving at the Collahuasi copper mine in Chile's Atacama Desert.
