Franklin Nicanor Bernal

Franklin Nicanor Bernal is an Ecuadorian civil servant who served as the ex-subsecretary of the Regional 4 of the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works (MTOP) during Rafael Correa's government. He has recently been in the news due to his involvement in the case related to the Reconstruction of Manabí, where he, along with several others, is awaiting a decision from the National Court of Justice regarding an appeal against his initial acquittal on charges of peculado.
