
František Daniel
František Daniel was a survivor of the devastating World War II bombings in Nové Zámky, Slovakia. As a child, he was buried alive for four hours when a bomb fell near his family's bunker. He later dedicated his life to studying the events surrounding the bombings, reflecting on the traumatic impact it had on his hometown, which lost thousands of lives and much of its historic architecture during the attacks.
