František Kriegel
František Kriegel was a prominent Czechoslovak politician and physician known for his courageous stand during the Prague Spring of 1968. He was the only Czechoslovak leader to resist Soviet pressures during his arrest in Moscow and notably refused to sign the Moscow Protocol, which endorsed the Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia. His defiance symbolized the struggle for freedom and reform in the face of oppressive regimes.
