Franz Friðriksson

Franz Friðriksson is a prominent builder and co-owner of H-Raf ehf., known for his recent work in Kópavogur, Iceland, where he has been involved in preparing a residential lot for construction. This summer, he faced unexpected challenges while excavating deep into the ground, reportedly up to 4.5 meters, due to unusually dense soil layers. Franz and his wife, Halla Jónsdóttir, plan to build a house on this desirable plot near Vatnsendablett, which is rich in vegetation and close to notable natural sites like Elliðavatn and Heiðmörk. His architectural collaboration with Arnari Grétarssyni aims to harmonize their new home with the surrounding landscape.
