Frederik of Luxembourg

Prince Frederik of Luxembourg, who tragically passed away at the age of 22, was a passionate advocate for awareness of POLG disease, a rare genetic disorder affecting energy production in cells. Diagnosed at 14, he dedicated his life to research and education about the condition, founding the POLG Foundation and contributing his DNA for studies. His creative endeavors included a clothing line to fundraise for research, and he shared his experiences to inspire others facing similar challenges.
