Fredrik Paciuse

Fredrik Paciuse was a Finnish composer and conductor, recognized for his significant contributions to the music of the Baltic region. He is best known for composing the music to the Estonian national anthem, 'Mu isamaa, mu õnn ja rõõm,' which has become a symbol of Estonian national pride. His work was highlighted during the recent ceremonial lighting of the festival fire in Tartu, marking the beginning of the XXVIII laulu- ja XXI tantsupidu 'Iseoma.'
