Frelin Hernández Guardado

Frelin Hernández Guardado, a 30-year-old Honduran national, was recently sentenced to 12 years in federal prison in Maryland for his involvement in drug trafficking, illegal possession of firearms, and planning a murder for hire. Previously deported from the United States twice, Hernández Guardado was found guilty of selling firearms to undercover informants and had expressed a desire to kill an individual who he believed had cooperated with law enforcement during a drug investigation. His arrest occurred in January 2022 when he was apprehended with a significant amount of cocaine intended for use in his murder plot.
