Friedrich Kure

Friedrich Kure was a major in the Estonian military during World War II and played a significant role in the fight against Soviet forces. He is noted for his leadership of a group of forest brothers, or 'metsavennad,' who resisted Soviet rule after the war. Kure's military background and status made him a target for the NKVD, leading to his eventual demise in combat.
