Fritz Uhlmann
Fritz Uhlmann was a Swiss wrestler who spent much of his career in the shadow of his friend and rival, Ruedi Hunsperger. The two faced off in the final of the Eidgenössischen in 1974, where Uhlmann, despite being a strong competitor, ultimately did not claim the title. Uhlmann's career was marked by his struggles with mental fortitude and the pressure of competition, especially without his training partner by his side. After retiring, he maintained a close friendship with Hunsperger.
