Fu Ssu-nien

Fu Ssu-nien (傅斯年) was a prominent Taiwanese scholar and educator, known for his leadership as the fourth president of National Taiwan University (NTU). He played a crucial role in maintaining academic freedom and protecting the university community from political interference during turbulent times in Taiwan's history. In honor of his contributions, Fu Garden at NTU was named after him, serving as a tribute to both his legacy and the rich botanical heritage of the campus.
