
Fülöp Péter
Fülöp Péter, born in 1986, is a Hungarian theater director and administrator known for his impactful contributions to the performing arts. He graduated with degrees in law and economics from the University of Pécs and became the director of the Csiky Gergely Theatre in 2016 after initially serving as its economic and production director since 2015. He has also held significant positions in the Hungarian Ministry of Human Capacities, where he was responsible for art, culture, and public collections. Notably, he initiated a charity gala for the theater that has benefited thousands of families in need. Fülöp has been recognized for his exceptional contributions to arts management, receiving the Bánffy Miklós Prize in 2024. Recently, he announced his departure from his position at the Csiky Gergely Theatre after accepting a new role from Attila Vidnyánszky at the National Theatre of Hungary.
