Furat Al-Mousawi

Furat Al-Mousawi is the head of the Iraq Energy Center and has been actively analyzing and addressing the challenges facing Iraq's electricity supply. He has highlighted the critical issues stemming from the dependency on both imported and local gas for power generation and has proposed forming an energy crisis cell to ensure adequate fuel supply for power stations. Al-Mousawi has pointed out the inefficiencies and lack of clear energy policies in Iraq, which have contributed to significant power shortages despite substantial budget allocations.
