G. R. Nirmal Kumar is a political figure and one of the close associates of popular Indian actor-turned-politician Vijay. He has recently been in the news for being charged with involuntary manslaughter and negligence following a tragic crowd crush at a political rally in Tamil Nadu that resulted in the deaths of at least 40 people.
