Gabrielle de Tournemire is a French author and scholar, born in 1998. She is known for her debut novel 'Des enfants uniques,' which explores the lives of adolescents with disabilities through the lens of love and personal challenges. Drawing from her own experiences during a year spent working in a residential home for people with disabilities, Tournemire's writing is characterized by its sensitivity and lack of voyeurism. An alumna of the prestigious École Normale Supérieure, she holds an agrégation in literature and aims to shed light on the often-overlooked narratives of those living with disabilities.
