Gaetano Sammartino

Gaetano Sammartino is the president of the Campania and Molise section of Sigea (Società italiana di geologia ambientale). He is an expert in geology, particularly in the study of volcanic activity in the Campi Flegrei area, where he has contributed to understanding the geological differences between the Campi Flegrei caldera and other nearby volcanoes, such as Vesuvius and Mount Epomeo.
