Gail Dryland

Gail Dryland is an experienced hot air balloonist and a mentor at the Waikato Balloon Club, where she has been inspiring others, especially women, to pursue their passion for ballooning over the past 20 years. She has played a significant role in encouraging female participation in the sport, believing that 'women can do anything.' Dryland's passion for ballooning not only brings her joy but also happiness to those who experience it, and she continues to fly alongside her brother, creating a unique bond in the skies.
