Gailītis

Gailītis is a prominent Latvian basketball coach who has recently been in the news for negotiating a contract to become the head coach of the French Ligue Nationale de Basket team, Strasbourg SIG, starting in the 2025/2026 season. With a successful coaching career that includes leading 'VEF Rīga' to seven national championship titles, he has also served as an assistant coach for the Latvian national team and has experience coaching youth teams.
