Galarraga

Galarraga is a renowned confectioner from Florida who was recently recognized as the Best Confectioner in the Americas for 2024. He began his journey in confectionery during his teenage years as a recreational activity, which eventually evolved into a professional career. With a background rooted in a family business where he crafted traditional Uruguayan desserts, Galarraga has honed his skills through various courses both in Uruguay and internationally. He currently teaches Pastry at the ITP of the Bakers' Center and the Hotel School of Colonia, specializing in birthday cakes and blending traditional and contemporary techniques.
