Galina Garmaș

Galina Garmaș is a 38-year-old refugee from Odesa, Ukraine, who moved to Chișinău, Moldova, in May 2022, shortly after the Russian invasion. She has established a Russian-speaking kindergarten for children, aided by refugee support programs and grants. Galina's journey highlights the integration challenges faced by many Ukrainian refugees, as well as their contributions to the local community and economy.
