Ganiyu Yinusa

Dr. Ganiyu Yinusa is the Chairperson of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) at Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) in Nigeria. He has been instrumental in advocating for student welfare and promoting equitable access to education. Recently, he announced the awarding of N6.2 million in scholarships to 31 indigent students at OOU, demonstrating ASUU's commitment to supporting students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Under his leadership, the union aims to alleviate financial burdens on students and ensure that no qualified individual is denied access to higher education due to financial constraints.
