Known as 'the Bomber', Gaopatwe was the alleged mastermind behind a syndicate of armed robbers operating across Botswana, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. He faced a 38-year prison sentence for his role in orchestrating a brazen robbery of G4S armored vehicles, which involved the use of explosives and automatic firearms.
