Gassan Azan

Gassan Azan is a Jamaican businessman and farmer known for operating a high-tech greenhouse facility that supplies various produce, including lettuce, tomatoes, and sweet peppers, to his MegaMart superstores across Jamaica. Recently, he reported some damage to his greenhouse due to Hurricane Melissa but noted that it was not as severe as the previous damage caused by Hurricane Beryl. Azan is also an advocate for government action to facilitate the importation of food to support the Jamaican population during agricultural disruptions.
